When switching to a new device and you lose service, here are a few important troubleshooting steps to check:

Ensure that your new device is compatible with your carrier

Make sure that Airplane mode is disabled on your new device

Try removing and reinserting the SIM card into your new device
Oftentimes the carriers will temporary suspend your device if you input your SIM into another device. This helps protect you from potential SIM swap threats. If you suspect that your line has been suspended after switching to a new device, open a case with the IMEI and ICCID associated with your new device.
